Hi David, is there any time that users should be able to access the subform directly? If not, what if you unassign the subform from their usernames so that they can only access it after going into the parent form?

    Hello Le,

Yes sometimes it is necessary to access the subform directly when editing the subform in the QA/QC process from the online interface instead of from a tablet.  This is necessary because it doesn't appear to be possible to edit the subform through the parent form in the online interface.  In the meantime, I have disabled the other account from seeing subform only entries, so they have to re-download the entire parent form with subforms to edit the subforms, which takes time given the amount of data entries we have and the associated size of the file.

    Hi David,

By "online interface", are you referring to Editing the record in the data table?

Have you considered using Webforms? It will allow you to edit the subform through the parent form. (https://iformbuilder.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009841612-How-do-I-enable-Webforms-)
