Annotation Improvements

The new annotation feature is great however I would like to see the following enhancements:

Ability to go back and edit the drawing once saved and have the layers/objects still separate and editable. Currently when you do this everything is merged to the drawing layer. I would see this working by keeping a separate copy similar to a Photoshop PSD file.
When adding a photo that is floating you have limited zoom ability. I would like to be able to add a photo and zoom in to detail and then merge with the background layer - for example an existing image of a CAD drawing. You cant zoom when adding the image as background in the first place.
Ability to customise icons (add your own) to the icon tool - at the moment it is limited
As the pencil colour picker is specific to the tool that contains pencil, eraser and shapes, I think it better to have the colour picker embedded on the that toolbar. This would then be consistent with how the text tool works (contains its own colour picker)
Ability to click on a text object once added and change the text
Ability to add shapes and the move/resize like the icons.

Also would like to another one:

Ability to preload a background image for those firms with fixed requirements such as injury form,car damage etc.

It would also be good to be able to preload as part of a csv/image upload.
