In order to collect data offline, the user must first download all forms to their device while connected. Once the forms have been downloaded to the device, the user can collect records while disconnected.
STEP 1. Select the form you want to collect data for.
STEP 2. Fill out of the record and click Done.
STEP 3. You will be taken to the record view, where you will see the Hourglass Icon next to the completed record. This indicates the record is ready for upload once the user is connected to the internet.
Once you have WiFi or data coverage, your forms will be automatically uploaded to the server. If they do not, make sure you have Auto Sync turned on. Click here for instructions on using Auto Sync.
iFORM TIP: If collecting data in an offline environment, switch off the Sync on Start and Auto Sync settings so the user can manually sync once connected.
