How do I save a copy of the photos I capture to the device's library?
With Save a Copy in Album turned on, any image captured through the app will be saved to the device's library.
To set the Save a Copy in Album preference on your iOS device, please follow the steps below.
STEP 1. From inside the iForm app, click the Settings menu in the upper left-hand corner.
STEP 2. On the following screen, click the Settings section.
STEP 3. Scroll down to the Advanced section and click the Element Settings.
STEP 4. This can be done in two places. You can do it for the Image Element and the Drawing Element. Click the Save Copy in Album toggle to enable or disable. Green means it is enabled.
I always assumed that using this option would save photos to the Camera Roll tagged with GPS data as if you'd taken the photos with the native Camera app. But it looks like this might not be the case, is that right? While the photo records themselves will always have the created/modified location tagged in the record metadata, those may not always line up correctly with the actual location of the photo.
