What is a RecordSet?

RecordSets are storage locations for data saved within Dataflow Automation. These RecordSets and the actions associated with them are the foundations for Dataflow Automation.

How do I delete a record from a RecordSet?

To delete a record from a RecordSet, please follow the instructions below.

Step 1

From the Dataflow Automation interface, load the Dataflow where your RecordSet resides.

Highlight the record you wish to edit.

Step 3

From the RecordSet drop-down menu, hover over Delete Records.  You will be given the following 3 options:

  • Delete All Records: This is just what it sounds like. All records in the RecordSet will be deleted.
  • Delete All Records Recursive: This will delete any records in the RecordSet as well as any RecordSet it would flow to.
  • Delete Records by RUN_ID: A RUN_ID is created each time data is uploaded to a RecordSet. This allows you to delete records based on these runs.
Step 4

Choose the option to which you want to delete the records and click Delete.
