What are APIs?
APIs are application programming interfaces, which support external integrations and advanced functionality. These interfaces are commonly used by software engineers or systems to do work on your behalf.
What is a Zerion Data Collector user?
A Data Collector user has permission to simply collect data on forms which are assigned to them by an admin. This permission is given to the user through a Zerion Policy, which will be covered below.
How do I give API permissions to a Data Collector user?
To give API permissions, please following the instructions below.

From inside the Zerion Console, select Identity Access Management.
From the left-hand menu, select Users.
Choose the user to which you want to give API permissions.
Click the Access Keys tab.
Enter the user's password and provide an Access Key name.
Download the Client Key and Client Secret.
PLEASE NOTE: The interface will not store the key and secret so you will need to download them and keep them in a safe place.
