Adding and administering users is an ‘Admin Only’ function. The list view, as shown below, shows all usernames, their actual first and last name, email address, and their system role. If the ‘Right to create forms’ column is checked, the user is considered as having the General role. If the ‘Company Admin’ column is checked, the user has the Admin role. Having both roles gives full access to the iFormBuilder platform. You will also notice the icons under the Actions column. Selecting the pencil icon will open the user record for editing. Selecting the circle with the line icon will delete the user record, after an extra confirm step.
When creating a new user there are 2 options that can be administered to users. You can select one or both of the options.
Right to create forms - Selecting ONLY this option alone will allow the user to create their own forms however they will not be able to make changes to forms created by other users.
Admin - Selecting ONLY this option will allow the Admin to have Admin rights which include Access to the Data view, Form Assignment, Company Admin and More.
Right to create forms and Admin - Selecting BOTH of these options together will allow the user to have Access to Admin Functions as well as the FormBuilder and all forms within the FormBuilder.
At the bottom of the User tab (Shown Above), there is an ‘Create User’ button that will open the form seen in the screenshot below. Select a username for the new user, enter their first and last name, email address, and create a password, which must be confirmed. The very last step is to grant the user their system role. Check either one, both, or neither of the rights options; ‘Right to create forms’ and or ‘Admin’. When you're done hit "Create User".
Under the "My Profile" tab you can change your first name, last name, and reset your password if needed. Also at the very bottom will also you tell you if you have the right to create forms and whether or not you are an admin.
